Print correspondence, graduation programs, diplomas, and ephemera related to Jernigan’s college education and honorary doctorates for his advocacy work for the blind. Includes a copy of Artiques, an independent literary magazine co-founded by Jernigan while attending Peabody College, Nashville, TN. Also contains one photograph of Jernigan accepting the honorary Doctor of Law degree from Seton Hall University in 1974.
