“Correspondence-Foundations”
Scope and Contents
Correspondence, documents, photographs, braille, and printed materials related to the business activities of the Foundation, including the establishment of the Low Vision Clinic at George Washington University Medical Center. Materials are in original order within each folder. Several original folders were combined to conserve space. Box 2, folder 5, “Correspondence-Foundations,” also includes the folders, “Lions Clubs”, “Low Vision Campaign”, and “Israeli Aids for the Blind” (1970-1972). Box 2, folder 7, “Foundation for the Handicapped and Elderly, Inc.” (1971), also includes the folders, “Foundation Advisory Board (council)” (1971) and “Foundation for the Physically Handicapped and Senior Citizens of Greater Washington, Inc.” (1967-1973).
