This series contains photo albums, scrapbooks, loose photographs, and news clippings. News clippings are arranged in chronological order and concern Jernigan’s life and career, but do not focus specifically on the NFB or the ICB. Includes photos that were displayed at Jernigan’s memorial service, as well as two copies of the issue of The New York Times which featured his obituary. Also includes photos of the Augusta House, a historic property in the Irvington neighborhood of Baltimore, MD, which is owned by the American Action Fund for Blind Children and Adults and was the Jernigan’s residence from 1980-1998.
