Scope and Contents
Consists of print and Braille correspondence sent to and from Jernigan between the 1950s and the 1990s, the majority of which is arranged in reverse chronological order. Topics range from Jernigan’s home life, to his professional life, to outside activities such as his involvement with the NFB. Correspondence with some individuals is filed separately by correspondent’s last name, including 2 audio recordings from Russell Kletzing. Also includes correspondence and files related to Jernigan’s travel expense reimbursements from 1954-1966.
